Who I am

In the rehearsal room, I strive to create a space that is both safe and daring—a place where boundaries can be pushed and risks can be taken. I love vicious theatre, the kind that digs into volatile relationships and exposes the deepest flaws of humanity. By uncovering the darkness within us, we can understand our shadows better and with less fear. I bring both preparedness and bravery into my work, striving to create fresh perspectives and unflinching, honest storytelling.

My artistry is in conversation with feminine rage—both my own and the collective fury of my femme collaborators. I believe the rage passed down from my predecessors, in blood and spirit, finds a home in me. On stage, I seek the raw, cathartic power of uninhibited femme emotion—its beauty, pain, and defiant joy. Through my work, I explore the silence imposed on femme voices, the fire that breaks through, and the communal release that emerges when rage is given space to be seen, heard, and felt.

In Charles Mee’s Big Love, one of the women pleads, “Do you think that makes me happy? To spend my whole life on earth—the only life I'm going to have—feeling angry?” For a long time, I felt alone in my anger. It wasn’t until coming across plays like this that I felt seen. I want to be a vessel for that validation—for other passionate women to see their emotions honored, rather than dismissed.

I strive to be a vessel for bold storytelling — to ignite empathy, spark conversation, and offer catharsis through unflinching honesty. My work is a testament to the power of rage transformed into art, and the liberation found in giving it voice.
